If I make my house smell like Fall, then maybe I’ll forget about the 95 degree weather outside, right?
I love Summer but Fall was the season I missed the most in the Caribbean… aka land of perpetual Summer. Most people end up complaining about Winter weather, but that’s the perfect time of year in the Caribbean… Spring is still nice, Summer is hot but it’s hot in the States too. Fall though… everyone was talking about pumpkins, scarves, leaves changing colors and cooler temps… and we were still baking in Summer until December. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of Fall last year… it was my first one in almost 4 years! Now I’m anxious to experience it again this year!
I don’t care that it’s literally almost 100 degrees still in Alabama. I can see leaves starting to fall from the trees, I’ve already had 3… maybe 4… Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks (plenty more to come) and I’ve bought coats for my girls.
Also, my pregnant body would appreciate an end to Summer.
I LOVE using my diffuser to make my house smell like Fall! It’s warm, inviting, relaxing, a little yummy and can keep germs away too.
Here are a few you will find me diffusing any normal day during the season. 🙂
Pumpkin Spice: 2 drops each of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Ginger and Orange
Autumn Fresh: 4 drops of Sacred Mountain + 4 drops Orange
Fall at Night: 4 drops of Thieves + 4 drops of Orange + 2 drops of Frankincense
Germ Fighter: 4 drops of Thieves + 3 drops of Orange + 1 drops of Cinnamon + 1 drop of Clove
Apple Pie: 4 drops of Stress Away + 3 drops of Orange + 2 drops of Cinnamon
Autumn Woods: 4 drops of Frankincense, 3 drops of Balsam Fir, 3 drops Orange, 2 drops of Cinnamon
Autumn Zest: 4 drops of Cardamom, 2 drops of Orange, 1 drop of Cinnamon, 1 drop of Clove
* These blends are used in a large open room. If just starting out or if using in a smaller area, decrease the amount of drops to your liking.
